Education Personnel are seeking a Design Technology Teacher capable of teaching Design Technology 5 days a week. The role is for a February start, and you will be required until the summer term 2024 minimum, with a potential for extension or a permanent position. This is an ideal opportunity for all Design Technology Teachers. Those willing to accept M1-UPS1 pay are encouraged to apply.

Located in Nottingham, our esteemed school is well-regarded in the area. We are currently looking for a dynamic Design Technology teacher to join our team. The school boasts a modernized site with excellent facilities and a supportive community. With ongoing plans for improvement, we offer a positive environment for both students and staff.
General duties of the Design Technology Teacher will be:
· Engaging Teaching:
o Develop and implement creative Design Technology lessons.
o Utilize modern teaching methodologies to make lessons interesting.
· Curriculum Development:
o Contribute to the improvement of the Design Technology curriculum.
o Integrate real-world applications into lesson plans.
· Practical Project Management:
o Guide students in hands-on design and technology projects.
o Encourage practical learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
· Safety and Assessment:
o Ensure a safe workshop environment.
o Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
· Extracurricular and Industry Engagement:
o Organize design-related extracurricular activities.
o Establish connections with local industries for real-world exposure
· Providing safeguarding and pastoral support
