Supporting our local schools

We are a local Derbyshire agency with over 10 years’ experience in the education sector. Quite simply, we work with integrity and in partnership with our clients to provide an honest and transparent service and enable clients to communicate with us via their preferred method: call, email, text or WhatsApp.


We are now also opperating in Nottingham, High Peak and Manchester!


We place candidates in our local schools on a long term, day-to-day, temp to perm, or direct permanent basis. We are personally contactable out of hours to discuss any last-minute requirements.

Giving something back!

We love to support our schools. We offer packages and bundles for schools to support students with their education. We are also happy to help on a voluntary basis to assist with careers events, such as mock interviews, CV workshops etc.

Keeping children safe in education

At Education Personnel, we are fully registered and audited by our partner APSCO and we fully understand the checks required to place our candidates into a school environment.


We are proud to say that we go above and beyond the Department for Education’s “Keeping children safe in education” recommendations.

As part of our stringent recruitment and vetting process, we carry out the following checks:


  • DBS checks – every 6 months
  • Disqualification by association declaration
  • Prohibition checks (NCTL) – every 6 months
  • Children’s barred list check – every 6 months
  • 10-year work history with any gaps investigated
  • Proof of identity – documents seen and verified
  • Proof of address – documents seen and verified
  • Minimum of 2 years work history fully referenced

  • Proof of qualifications – documents seen and verified
  • Face-to-face or virtual verified interview with all candidates
  • Online safeguarding and prevent training completed prior to first placement
  • Right to work checks digitally verified by Digi-dentity, a Government Framework Supported Partner
